Death metal veterans Cryptopsy are marking the 30th anniversary of their 1994 debut album, “Blasphemy Made Flesh”, with a deluxe reissue set to drop on July 18th. Alongside the remastered original and a previously unreleased live set from 1995, the reissue features a brand-new eight-minute medley titled “Blasphemy Made Fresh”.

The track stitches together highlight moments from the debut, featuring guest vocals from some of today’s top death metal figures: Ben Duerr (Shadow of Intent), Bridget Lynch (Stabbing), Alexander Sason (Undeath), Johnny Ciardullo (Carcosa), and Mallika Sundaramurthy (Emasculator).

But the real curveball? The medley includes a fiery guitar solo from bluegrass powerhouse Billy Strings. A longtime fan of Cryptopsy, Strings first connected with the band after sending over a cake when their touring schedules briefly overlapped last year. He nailed the solo despite not having played heavy music recently.

The deluxe package offers variety across formats: digital, double CD, and vinyl in both black and red splatter variants. This special edition is a celebration of Cryptopsy’s brutal legacy, combining raw classics with modern collaborations.
