Cro‑Mags announce European summer shows and hint at new album

New York hardcore legends Cro‑Mags are heading to Europe for a string of shows in late July and early August. The band will hit clubs across the continent, including stops at Backstage Imbiss in Munich on July 29th, Rare Guitar in Münster on July 30th, and Café Central in Weinheim on July 31st. Earlier in July, they’ll also be playing venues like The Arch in Brighton and Forum in Tunbridge Wells.

In a recent interview, frontman Harley Flanagan shared that a new Cro‑Mags album is currently in the works. He revealed that sessions have begun with producer Arthur Rizk, known for pushing artists outside their comfort zones. Flanagan mentioned he’s experimenting more with melodic vocals on this upcoming release, stepping slightly away from his signature growl.

The record will be the first full-length release from Cro‑Mags since “In the Beginning” dropped in 2020. It’s a highly anticipated follow-up, especially given Flanagan’s recent activity, which includes his appearance in the new documentary “Harley Flanagan: Wired for Chaos” that premiered in the U.S. this summer.
