“The Bachelor” is a “full of fall-vibes” song – you can just feel the rain, the darkness and the falling leaves. With melancholic, yet hopeful sounds the song brings to mind Coldplay’s music. The lyrics tell a story of a guy losing faith in his future, wishing things would return to how they were “when everything was better”. Standing under the familiar streetlight the protagonist holds on to the past, while the world moves on around him.
The new release “The Bachelor” started as a melancholic guitar riff. The song evolved in the arrangement – from an “Anssi’s drawer demo” into the finalized song – by adding pop-sounds and piano to the background. Piano in the background brings hope to the song, making it lighter and more melodic.
We clearly decided to invest our future, switching into bigger gear, doing things differently than before – taking a step towards becoming professional musicians. For the near future we plan on doing a lot of live shows and releasing our second full album in the beginning of next year. I would like to thank our loyal audience. You are about to hear a new Crimsonic in the future as we have found a common thread, our own sound and identity.
