Corrosion of Conformity reveal the identity of their new drummer

Nick Shabatura has been signed as the new drummer for the gold-certified Southern metal group Corrosion of Conformity, as per theprp. According to the band in the recently released video below, Charlie Benante, the drummer for Anthrax and Pantera, suggested that the latter score the gig. He takes over for the late Reed Mullin as Corrosion of Conformity drummer, replacing Stanton Moore, who took over in 2024. Moore expressed his approval of Shabatura’s new role on social media on March 13.

I approve this message! I went by rehearsals in Riffississippi the other day to meet and hang with Nick. He is an amazing drummer and a super cool guy. He showed up having completely done his homework and already sounds great playing with the band. The plan was always for me to make this record with the guys and then to find somebody to do the touring. Well, we found the guy and he is Nick Shabatura!
