Massachusetts hardcore veterans Converge have released “Hum of Hurt”, the title track and lead single from their forthcoming album of the same name. The record drops June 5 via Epitaph Records.

The album follows “Love Is Not Enough,” which came out in February and marked the band’s first mainline Converge studio album since 2017’s “The Dusk In Us.” Drummer Ben Koller had previously revealed that the sessions produced around 27 song ideas, with at least 17 fully tracked. Only 10 made the February release, so a second album in quick succession comes as little surprise.

Guitarist Kurt Ballou produced and engineered “Hum of Hurt,” with Alan Douches handling mastering. The 10-track record runs approximately 33 minutes.
