During Saturday night’s Oasis concert in London, a man in his 40s lost his life after falling from the stands of the Wembley Stadium. According to the metropolitan police, shortly before 10:30 p.m., there were reports of an injured person, so the officers and paramedics stepped in. The individual was discovered “with injuries compatible with a fall” and was immediately pronounced dead after falling from the stadium’s highest point, which was approximately 90,000 seats and nearly 50 meters above the ground. Anyone who saw the accident or recorded it on a cell phone was asked to get in touch with the police. The band dedicated “Live Forever” “to all the people who can’t be here” at the normally scheduled concert on Sunday, August 3rd. Previously the song was dedicated to the memory of Ozzy Osbourne.
This one’s for all the people who can’t be here tonight, but who are here if you know what I mean, and aren’t they looking lovely. Live Forever.
