American indie pop/shoegaze outfit Color Palette has shared a new single called “Anywhere At All“. Listen to the track below.
Over the course of more than three and a half minutes the band fuses elements of shoegaze with indie sounds that crystallise through fuzzed-out distorted guitars, enveloping keyboards and a drum beat reminiscent of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy The Silence“. “Anywhere at All” is a track to look out the window in the evening and let your imagination run wild.
Color Palette, led by principal songwriter and vocalist Jay Nemeyer, is an indie dream pop band based in Washington, DC. The outfit crafts lush auditory landscapes that showcase shimmering, pop-friendly vocal and guitar melodies, and the band has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed acts such as Charli XCX.
Color Palette’s music has been featured by NBC Universal, ESPN, MTV, Vimeo, Volvo, Aeropostale, and Monster Energy. In July 2020, they were honored with a Wammie Award (Washington Area Music Award) for Best Pop Song (“Marrakech to Bombay“).
The group released a new EP through Enroute Records on April 14, 2023.
