Cober Mouth unleash new single “THE DRAIN”

Bristol-based nu-metalcore trio Cober Mouth have released their new single “THE DRAIN” today, November 6, 2026.

Formed in 2023 by Cornish-born lifelong friends Adam and Dylan, the band have quickly made a name for themselves in the UK heavy music scene. Their previous singles “GET A GRIP” and “CESSPIT” attracted attention from BBC Radio 1, Metal Hammer, Kerrang!, Spotify and Apple Music.

Cober Mouth have also built momentum onstage, performing for a reported crowd of 15,000 at Germany’s Till Fest, selling out headline shows and sharing bills with Heart of a Coward, Profiler, Avralize and Osiah.

According to Adam, “THE DRAIN” questions the expectations of modern consumer society and asks what would happen if people collectively rejected their obligations to it. He describes the track as featuring the lowest-tuned and most abrasive sound the band have delivered so far.

“THE DRAIN confronts that which the fabric of modern western life depends on you not questioning – why is being a modern consumer better than being a nomadic agent under your own decree?”
