CKY unveil new track “Can’t Stop Running”

Amidst their next international tour, CKY has unexpectedly released a new song called “Can’t Stop Running“, as theprp reports. Regarding the band’s first new song since 2018, vocalist and guitarist Chad I. Ginsburg said the following.

This song has been a favorite of ours since it was written and demoed, and it’s remained one of the standouts. It will be played on tour and we’re very proud of it. The rest of the upcoming tracks we’ll be releasing are all over the map — however, this one happens to be one of our favorites. It has the perfect happy/sad feel, and shows real progression and growth in writing. This is a song for everyone — not just CKY diehards.

Jess Margera (drums) comments instead:

I must have heard this song about 2,000 times since we recorded it, and somehow I still get pumped when it comes on shuffle.

In the upcoming weeks, the song’s official music video will be released online. Originally, Fiend Without A Face was scheduled to accompany the band on their UK/Ireland tour, but plans were altered after guitarist and vocalist Brent Hinds, formerly of Mastodon, passed away on August 20.

We were supposed to be joined by our friend Brent Hinds and his band Fiend Without A Face on this run. Words can’t express how much we love and miss him, and we will be celebrating Brent every single night of this tour.
