Chris Adler closes the door on Lamb of God comeback

Former Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler was asked if he would ever return to the band he co-founded in Richmond, Virginia, more than 30 years ago in a recent interview with Scott Penfold of Loaded Radio.

Um, would I step in to do it again? Oh, man. I don’t know that I would. It feels like it would be like, would you go on a date with your ex-wife that you still kind of pine for? And I don’t think that would be a very good idea for either of us. I’ll take the memories and the plaques and Grammys that I can show my parents or whatever, and we’ll let it rest.

Officially, Lamb of God and Adler split up in July 2019. Art Cruz, a former member of Prong and Winds Of Plague, took his position and accompanied Adler on many Lamb of God concerts in 2018 and the first few months of 2019.
