Children Of Bodom to celebrate three decades of the band’s impact in 2027

Finnish legendary band Children Of Bodom have released a new statement via social media, thanking fans for their support during the shows at Tavastia. The band performed two sold‑out shows in Helsinki, followed by a special Bodom Night in Espoo — their first live appearances since 2019.

In their statement, the band expressed deep appreciation for the atmosphere created by the fans across all three nights, noting that the energy in the room far exceeded anything they had anticipated. The crowd’s enthusiasm, they said, led to “emotional moments for all of us” and served as a powerful reminder of the lasting impact Children Of Bodom’s music has had on listeners around the world.

The message also acknowledged the significance of the timing: next year marks 30 years since the beginning of Bodom’s musical legacy. With that milestone on the horizon, the band hinted that the celebration is far from over, closing their note with a hopeful, forward‑looking sentiment — “May the celebration continue.”

The shows brought together original members Janne Warman, Henkka Blacksmith, and Jaska Raatikainen, joined by returning guitarist Alexander Kuoppala and Samy Elbanna on vocals and guitar.
