Author Flavia Andrade - 12.5.2023

Sepultura‘s 1986 debut album “Morbid Visions“ is now a classic by the legendary Brazilian metallers. It features their early blackened death metal sound. The album was re-recorded by original Sepultura members, the Cavalera brothers, Max and Iggor, under the banner of Cavalera Conspiracy.

The effort was co-produced by the Cavalera brothers with engineer John Aquilino and mixed by Arthur Rizk (SoulflyCode Orange). The album in its new version will feature an unreleased track written during the “Morbid Visions” era, “Burn The Dead“. The release is scheduled for July 14 via Nuclear Blast, alongside a re-recorded version of Sepultura‘s “Bestial Devastation”, also via Nuclear Blast. The latter will include a bonus track “Sexta Feira 13“ [“Friday the 13th“].

The re-recorded version of the title track “Morbid Visions” is now online.
