Carnival of chaos at the House of Culture – Avatar, Alien Weaponry and Agabas ignite the cold night in Helsinki

Saturday, February 7th, 2026, the House of Culture pulsed with the restless energy of a carnival rolling into town. Anticipation hung thick in the air long before the show started.
Agabas opened the evening with raw sound, making the barrier between stage and floor disappear. By the end of their set, the band left the stage and dove into the pit themselves, and this was one of the most exciting moments of the night!
New Zealand’s Alien Weaponry followed, grounding the night with a sound that felt both ancient and confrontational. Their set hit with steady force, pulling the room into a unified motion where every riff felt carved rather than played and unyielding.
Then came Avatar. The stage transformed into theatre. Vividly alive, their performance pulled the crowd into its orbit. When the final note faded, the air still trembled, as if the carnival had not left the room but settled into its walls.
