Cancer Bats drops music video for “Weird Punx”

Canadian hardcore punk band Cancer Bats has shared a new music video for the song “Weird Punx”. You can watch it below.

The clip, directed and edited by Jonah Landry, accompanies a song recorded during the sessions for their latest album, “Psychic Jailbreak”, which was released earlier this year.

The band states: “Weird Punx is about growing up in a small town, where you and all your friends just hang out and dream about one day getting out and seeing the world. This photo for the single is of Jaye and I at a punk show in the late 90s, just young kinds not knowing that 20 years later we would be living out our punk dreams that we talked about while skateboarding in parking lots”.
