Steve Harris, the bassist and creator of Iron Maiden, has announced that his side project, British Lion, will return to the storied Cart & Horses venue in Stratford, London, where Maiden originally performed. British Lion is thrilled to return for a very special six-night residency in December, from December 13 to December 18, with special guests Albion, following their lengthy U.K. headline tour and a five-night stay at the venue in 2025.
We’re really happy to be coming back to the Cart & Horses for six nights in December. We’ve had some fantastic shows there over the years, and it’s always great to get back to such an important venue for Iron Maiden’s history. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there! – Steve Harris
Special guests Albion, which includes Jethro Tull’s current guitarist Jack Clark and former guitarist Joe Parrish-James, who left the band to concentrate on Albion, will join British Lion over the course of the six evenings. Steve Harris is a well-known longstanding fan of Jethro Tull, and their performance with British Lion will make this run of small-scale London gigs genuinely unforgettable. Albion connects two generations of Jethro Tull’s guitar lineup.
