British art-pop singer calls Metallica “worst band of all time”
In a recent interview to Pitchfork, British singer Matt Healy, of art-pop act The 1975, has said:
“I fucking hate Metallica. My worst band of all time.”
As a heavy metal fan, you might be asking yourself who the hell this Matt Healey is. It turns out The 1975 is a big deal in the UK nowadays, as they just landed their sixth consecutive UK No.1 with their latest album, “Being Funny In A Foreign Language”.
The singer, though, redeemed himself in a metalhead’s eyes: on a 2020 podcast, he named Swedish punk rockers Refused as his “favourite heavy metal band of all time.”
