Rio de Janeiro-based hard n’ heavy band Gadelha Superdrive have just released their new single, “Véu da Alma (ao vivo)“, the live version of one of the heaviest songs off of their debut EP “Escarlate”. The track was recorded during the band’s performance on the web series “Rio+Roque No Apê,” and it captures the band in its essence, heavy, energetic and unpredictable.

After 18 years in the rock and roll scene in Rio de Janeiro, and having shared the stage with bands such as Evanescence, Matanza and Raimundos, vocalist/bassist Cris Gadelha is joined by Fernanda Schenker and Alê Velloso (guitars) and PH Marques (drums) to form Gadelha Superdrive.

Their first EP “Escarlate” was released in June 2023, produced by Rafael Lima and distributed via Na Beira do Palco records.

The band is currently on the road with the second leg of their tour “Escarlatour”, which opened with a sold out concert in their native Rio de Janeiro, followed by dates opening for Electric Mob, and gigs in São Paulo, among others.
