Author Benedetta Baldin - 2.4.2026

Online reports claim that Brady Ebert, the former guitarist for Turnstile, has been detained on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder, as per theprp. Lambgoat has been covering the incident, and Montgomery County arrest records show that Brady O’Brien Ebert, 33, of Silver Spring, Maryland, was taken into custody yesterday, March 31st, on suspicion of second-degree murder. According to Lambgoat, Ebert appeared in court for the first time today and is supposedly accused of first-degree assault. A bail/bond review is set for today, April 02.

The S.E.T. had recently sacked Ebert due to the band’s disapproval of his actions and remarks directed at both band members and other people. Since then, he started a new band called Experience last month. A peace order was allegedly filed in 2022 as part of Ebert’s departure from Turnstile.

Upcoming shows by The S.E.T.:

  • Friday, April 24, 2026 – Timmonsville, SC

The band was formed in early 2024 through jam sessions with drummer Ryan (previously of End It), guitarist Brady (formerly of Turnstile), and bassist Che (founder of Flatspot Records). The search for a vocalist started after they finished writing the instrumentals for seven songs and were prepared to add lyrics to the music. The S.E.T. was finished when Che persuaded Tim to try out as a vocalist after spotting him leaping on stage and snatching the microphone at the Disturbin’ The Peace Festival.
