Bob Malmström release EP “Segla med Satan”

Author Flavia Andrade - 18.11.2022

Bob Malmström have just dropped their newest EP, “Segla med Satan”, out now via Elitbolaget.

The press release promises the view from the side of the rich:

“It’s 2022 and everything is going to hell. The stock market is tanking, the waves are full of poisonous algae porridge and in the east a mad tyrant force-feeds his brain virus to the people like a Frenchman force-feeds geese. The world is on the brink of an abyss.

Fortunately, there are things in the world that do not change. Bob Malmström returns as a recording artist to liberate the borgarcore-impoverished people with six new songs. Salvation is not what anyone expected, nor asked for, but it gives you the Zen to ski down the slopes of the Alps waving your middle fingers to the poor. We’re ready to rock the gold teeth out of your mouths.

Punk is for poor losers. Folk metal is for stupid losers. Bättre folk metal is for rich geniuses! Hail Satan!”

Track list:

  1. Segla med Satan
  2. Isabel
  3. Bättre folk metal
  4. Rödgula flaggan på topp
  5. Westendflickan
  6. Det är över nu

Bob Malmström, the one and only, the true originators and crowned kings of borgarcore. The band was founded in early 2010 as a reaction against the standard, worn out “against the system” leftist punk mentality. It doesn’t have to be about how poor you are and how much you hate the system. It can be about how life is good if you think the RIGHT way. We’re proud to be here making money and showing you the good side of life. Let the Dom Perignon rain, the pretty girls dance in your laps, the fast cars be run by you instead of over you and the stock exchange swing in your favor.

Bob Malmström is about change, a change for the better. A change for a bourgeois tomorrow that smiles upon all who have a reason to smile. Let’s make money! Let’s celebrate! Let’s Bob Malmström!

Bob Malmström has played over 250 gigs in Europe, China and Brazil and the discography covers three full-lengths and four singles and EP:s. In 2019 Bob Malmström records for Elitbolaget, previously for Playground Music Finland (2013-2018) and Spinefarm Records (2011-2012).
