Godsmack drummer Wade Murff (Daughtry, Prong, Orgy) has been hired by platinum-certified hard rock band Black Veil Brides to step in for the remainder of their current European/UK tour, as per theprp. This past April, Murff was revealed as Godsmack‘s new touring drummer. Christian “CC” Coma had to return home due to a “unfortunate personal and private matter,” according to Black Veil Brides‘ announcement of the lineup change on June 6.
Due to an unfortunate personal and private matter, our brother Christian Coma will not be on stage with us for the remainder of the 2026 European tour. We apologize for those who have noted the already announced Milan cancellation but this is a circumstance we needed to make adjustments to handle. Our friend Wade Murff will be joining us for the remainder of the tour after Rock Am Ring and we look forward to seeing everyone at all of the subsequent shows. CC will be rejoining the tour for leg 2 in the US, please send him love and light at this time.

Hollywood, California is home to the American rock group Black Veil Brides. Lead vocalist Andy Biersack, multi-instrumentalist Jinxx, lead guitarist Jake Pitts, drummer Christian “CC” Coma, and bassist Lonny Eagleton now make up the group, which was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2006. The stage personas of Kiss and Mötley Crüe, as well as other 1980s glam metal artists, served as inspiration for Black Veil Brides‘ usage of black cosmetics, body paint, tight black studded attire, and long hair.
