Norwegian post-black metal project Bizarrekult has returned with the third and final single from its upcoming album “Alt Som Finnes” (All There Is). This new track, “Avmakt”, dives deep into a tense clash between raw aggression and creeping despair. As a result, Roman V. once again turns personal struggle into something sharply confrontational.
On “Avmakt”, Roman’s vocals do not simply sit on top of the music. Instead, they tear through it, cutting into a cold and unyielding wall of riffs. The song centers on the feeling of having no control, where frustration builds but never finds release. “This song deals with feeling like you have no control,” Roman explains. “We carry on as bystanders, powerless over the direction of our lives.”
“Alt Som Finnes” is set for release on February 20, 2026 via Season of Mist Underground Activists. Across eight tracks, the album blends black metal intensity with broader post-metal atmospheres. While “Avmakt” moves with relentless force, moments of melody briefly surface, only to fade away just as quickly, leaving a sense of unease behind.
Unlike the previous singles from the album, which featured guest vocalists Yusaf “Vicotnik” Parvez and Lina R., “Avmakt” finds Roman completely alone. That isolation shapes the track’s character, as his wounded delivery feels more exposed and unforgiving. Consequently, the song comes across as one of the album’s most direct statements.
Looking at the album as a whole, Roman describes it as a difficult but necessary journey. “I was not ready for all this,” he says. “None of us are, when the time comes. But at the end of this journey, it seems to have all been worth it. The music gave me hints as to where to go and what can be.”
“Alt Som Finnes” will be available on CD and several vinyl variants. Ahead of its release, fans also have the chance to hear the full album early during a Bandcamp listening party scheduled for early February.
