Ben Koller, a musician associated with various ensembles, including Converge and Mutoid Man, was involved in a significant vehicular collision on December 07th, as theprp reports. According to a statement disseminated via his digital platform, the individual reported a broadside impact to his vehicle. This incident was followed by the immediate departure of the offending party from the scene.

Nonetheless, potential accountability for the involved parties remains plausible. Koller asserts that the other vehicle’s license plate, along with its bumper, became detached at the site of the collision. Despite the substantial damage sustained by his vehicle, Koller reported sustaining only superficial physical trauma.

Nice little Sunday. They t-boned me and fled the scene. Luckily their bumper flew off and had the license plate on it. I’m somehow walking and talking and pretty lucky to be alive. Don’t waste a second this thing could be over at any second and it’s completely out of your control. I think god wants me to finish my work at @heavymusiccollective ok bye see you at saddest day fest

Thank you for saving my life @toyotausa. – Koller in the comments

Numerous musicians have extended their well wishes to him in the comments section of the post, including his Converge bandmate Jacob Bannon and members of Suicidal Tendencies, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Periphery, and others. Despite experiencing a significant upheaval in his personal circumstances, Koller has reaffirmed his intention to perform at Converge’s upcoming ‘Saddest Day’ festival at the Roadrunner in Boston, MA, scheduled for Saturday, December 13th. Additionally, Koller recently co-founded the Heavy Music Collective, a company backed by Metallica, with the aim of facilitating the collection of royalties for metal bands.
