“Being a beginning of the trilogy, “Abyss” gives fans something to look forward to” – interview with Ad Infinitum’s Melissa Bonny

Swiss modern metal band Ad Infinitum will treat us all to a new album on October 11th via Napalm Records. This time around, aside from the usual anticipation, fans will experience a new sort of excitement mixed with curiosity, as Ad Infinitum, surprisingly, decided to give up their usual history-based concept of the album and widen the horizons of their creativity. There are absolutely no limits in the new album “Abyss”. But what if the absence of a concept is the concept, too..?

Chaoszine learned the answer to this question and many more during a nice chat with Ad Infinitum‘s frontwoman mastermind, Melissa Bonny. They talked about modern metal as a genre, dream collaborations, the crossover of metal into pop and many other intriguing topics.
