Kaaos Festival, taking place in Vaasa’s Vaskiluoto, Finland on 24–25 July 2026, has revealed its second headliner: the Finnish heavy metal powerhouse Beast In Black. The band returns to Vaasa after a two-year break and will perform their only show in Ostrobothnia in 2026 at the festival.
Founded in 2015 by guitarist Anton Kabanen, Beast In Black has rapidly become one of Finland’s most internationally acclaimed metal exports. The band’s first two albums, “Berserker” (2017) and “From Hell With Love” (2019), have both reached platinum status in Finland, while their distinct aesthetic – inspired by gaming worlds, sci-fi and cyberpunk – defines both their sound and their visual identity.
Their latest album “Dark Connection” (2021) strengthened their position even further. Following the release, the band embarked on extensive world touring, both headlining and performing on major arenas alongside Nightwish. Vocalist Yannis Papadopoulos’ virtuosic range, combined with symphonic and power metal elements, has made Beast In Black one of the most unique representatives of modern metal today.
