Baroness release a statement about the passing of their former drummer

Regarding the sad passing of Allen Blickle, their co-founding drummer, Baroness has released a brief message, as reported from theprp. Online tributes from friends and family spread the word of Blickle’s sudden death last weekend. John Baizley, the Baroness‘ guitarist and singer, has now responded to the loss in a quick social media post, posting the following.

It breaks my heart to have to share the news that my dear friend, creative partner and former bandmate Allen Blickle passed away a few days ago. I’m still in shock that he’s gone. We ask for understanding as his family and this band process his passing and grieve his loss. Allen, I love you and miss you. I treasure every moment we shared.
