The Amsterdam performance concludes a pivotal year for Bad Omens, whose meteoric rise has been documented by major music publications. 2025 saw the band dominate festival stages around the world, from Download UK and Graspop in Belgium to Aftershock in the United States, and announce their first headlining tours in Europe and North America, with tickets selling out fast. Their latest singles ‘Specter‘, ‘Impose‘ and ‘Dying to Love‘ have received widespread acclaim for their ability to combine dark, cinematic production with poignant choruses, cementing the band as one of the most innovative groups in modern metal.
The meticulous live production of the tour and the emotional intensity of their performances have received widespread praise. Earlier this year, Kerrang! described their headline shows as “arena spectacles that blur the line between metal concert and immersive art installation.”
Bad Omens are coming off three years of tremendous success thanks to the triumph of their third studio album, “The Death of Peace of Mind” (2022). Described by Revolver as “an extraordinary fusion of Weeknd-esque dark pop and industrialised metalcore,” the project has racked up over 1.8 billion streams, with their catalogue surpassing 2.7 billion. The album is RIAA Gold certified.
The band’s relentless rise has been driven in part by the viral success on TikTok of the lead single “Just Pretend,” which attracted an ever-growing fandom and catapulted them into the spotlight. Becoming the band’s first RIAA Platinum single, “Just Pretend” reached #1 on US Alternative Radio and topped numerous Billboard year-end charts, including: #1 Hot Hard Rock Songs, #6 Alternative Airplay Songs, #11 Rock and Alternative Airplay Songs, #11 Mainstream Rock Airplay Songs, #14 Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, and #23 Hot Alternative Songs. The genre-defying band continued their climb with the sensual RIAA Gold-certified single “The Death of Peace of Mind,” which reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Rock and Alternative Airplay Charts in the United States. Their radio success also earned Bad Omens a nomination for Best New Artist (Alt & Rock) at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
With growing momentum online and on the radio, Bad Omens continued to win over new fans with electrifying live shows, including numerous sold-out tours and performances at major festivals around the world. In 2024, the band toured extensively, including concerts in the UK with Bring Me The Horizon and the CONCRETE FOREVER European headlining tour with Poppy as the opening act, as well as numerous dates in the United States and a line-up of festivals that will continue into 2025.
The new era showcases a bold evolution for the band, led by ‘Specter‘, their fastest climb to #1 on Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay and Mediabase Active Rock – which also reached #15 on Alternative radio. Meanwhile, ‘Dying To Love‘ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Alternative Digital Song Sales chart and climbed to #2 on Hot Hard Rock Songs, further cementing their role as leaders of the new wave of rock.
Known for their immersive and visually stunning performances, Bad Omens will headline their first arena tours in Europe and North America in 2025–2026, cementing their place among the protagonists of rock’s future.
