Atreyu release “Children of Light” single featuring Max Cavalera

California metalcore band Atreyu have released “Children of Light,” a new single featuring Max Cavalera of Soulfly and ex-Sepultura. The track now streams on Spotify.

“Children of Light” appears on Atreyu‘s tenth studio album “The End Is Not the End,” out April 24, 2026, via Spinefarm. The record also includes prior singles “Dead,” “Ego Death,” and “All for You.” Producer Matt Pauling handled the album, which the band recorded in part during sessions in Tokyo and on San Juan Island in Washington.

Frontman Brandon Saller has called “The End Is Not the End” the band’s heaviest record to date. Two of Atreyu‘s albums carry RIAA gold certifications, and the band has placed multiple releases in the Billboard 200 Top 20.

Formed in Orange County in the late 1990s, Atreyu built their name during the metalcore boom of the early 2000s. Since then, they have continued to evolve through lineup changes and stylistic shifts.

Atreyu currently supports Sevendust on a spring United States tour running through May 20, 2026.
