Arizona death metal band Atoll have announced a new album, “Death Roll Party 9000”, and introduced the release with a music video for “Weed Witch”. The track features guest vocals from Dan Tucker of Colorado deathcore group Crown Magnetar.
The announcement pairs Atoll with a vocalist familiar to listeners of contemporary deathcore, giving the newly released track an additional connection to the wider extreme-metal scene.
Tucker fronts Crown Magnetar, who released their third studio album “The Hollowing Of Godflesh” in September 2026. The band have built a following through a particularly intense strain of technical deathcore, making the guest appearance a natural crossover for fans of both acts.
For Atoll, the new “Weed Witch” video is the first announced preview of “Death Roll Party 9000”. A release date and full track listing have not been independently confirmed for this report.
Atoll previously released “Inhuman Implants” in 2024. Earlier this year, the band also issued a refreshed recording of “Ripped Apart By Test Tube Monkeys” with an accompanying music video.
The new album announcement marks another step forward for the Arizona group as they continue to develop their catalogue of slamming death metal. Fans can find the “Weed Witch” video and further details through the band’s official channels.
‘Weed Witch‘ is one of those songs where we wanted to write something that was just absolutely disgusting but still fun. The song is built around a really heavy, slow groove with a bunch of tempo changes, nasty riffs, and huge breakdowns. The drums get pretty wild on this one, constantly switching between grooving, and those slower crushing sections that make you want to punch drywall Kyle style.
The idea behind the song is a ridiculous take on modern internet culture—a goth OnlyFans witch who puts curses on dudes through Cash App and other digital payment platforms. It’s not really about money, it’s just making fun of how weird everything has gotten and how crazy life is right now.
We were super stoked to have Dan Tucker from Crown Magnetar jump on this track. We’ve been fans of his vocals for a long time, and he absolutely killed his part. We were lucky enough to have him be part of the music video we shot in Denver too, which made the whole thing even cooler. Dan is an awesome dude and a monster vocalist, and we couldn’t be happier with how this song came out.
‘Weed Witch‘ is definitely one of the heavier, slower songs on Death Roll Party 9000, and it’s a perfect example of the kind of weird, chaotic, and heavy stuff we love writing.
