Argentine trap star goes metal with his new band Barro

Argentinean famous trap singer Ca7riel has launched a new metal band called Barro, with whom he has released a 5-song EP. Listen below to “Fornai“, one of the group’s powerful singles.

Barro, the Buenos Aires-based artist’s new venture, is formed by Ca7riel himself on vocals, guitarist Chowy Fernández (who recorded with Marco Minnemann from The Aristocrats), bassist El Montes and drummer Alan Fritzler. The band premieres with an eponymous five-song EP, including heavily-distorted guitars, guttural screams, and ferocious double bass drums.

The group will perform live for the first time on Thursday 9 March at 8 pm at Niceto Club (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Tickets are available through Passline.
