Canadian technical death metal band Archspire has released a new single, “Red Goliath”. The track marks the third preview of the band’s upcoming fifth studio album, “Too Fast To Die”, which arrives on April 10, 2026.
“Red Goliath” follows previously released singles “Limb of Levitictus” and “Carrion Ladder” from the record and continues the rollout of the band’s first album since 2021’s “Bleed the Future”. The album that won the Juno Award for Metal or Hard Music Album of the Year.
The new record introduces drummer Spencer Moore, who joined the band after longtime member Spencer Prewett departed in 2024. “Too Fast To Die” also marks the band’s first fully independent release following their previous work with Season of Mist.
During the album sessions, Archspire reunited with producer Dave Otero, known for his work with Cattle Decapitation and Khemmis. The band spent several months recording in Otero’s Denver studio while focusing entirely on the new material.
Blending extreme metal with neo classical precision and a hip hop influenced vocal cadence, Archspire have built a reputation for pushing technical boundaries within modern death metal. The upcoming album contains eight new tracks and continues the band’s pursuit of speed, precision, and technical intensity.
For now, fans can stream the newly released single “Red Goliath” while waiting for the full release of “Too Fast To Die” this April.
