Swedish melodic death metal giants Arch Enemy have released a brand new single titled “To The Last Breath”, marking the band’s first new music with recently announced vocalist Lauren Hart (ex-Once Human). The track arrived today, February 19th, and offers fans their first glimpse of the band’s new era following the departure of longtime frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz.

Hart joined Arch Enemy in late 2025 after White-Gluz stepped down from the group in November. At the time, the band confirmed via social media that both parties had decided to continue on separate paths after nearly a decade together.

“We are grateful for all the time and music we shared and wish her all the best,” the band stated in its announcement.

White-Gluz fronted Arch Enemy from 2014 to 2025, becoming one of modern metal’s most recognizable vocalists. During her tenure, the band released three studio albums — “War Eternal” (2014), “Will To Power” (2017) and “Deceivers” (2022) — and toured extensively worldwide, helping solidify Arch Enemy’s status as one of the leading acts in contemporary melodic death metal.

Lauren Hart is best known for her work with U.S. metal band Once Human, where her powerful harsh vocals and commanding stage presence earned widespread praise. Her addition signals a fresh chapter for Arch Enemy, who have remained a dominant force in the global metal scene since their formation in 1995 by guitarist Michael Amott.

While details about a possible new album have not yet been confirmed, the release of “To The Last Breath” strongly suggests that the band is preparing more material with their new lineup. The single showcases Arch Enemy’s signature blend of razor-sharp riffs, melodic leads and aggressive vocals, while introducing Hart’s own vocal identity to longtime fans.
