Zurich-based band Annie Taylor has released their new single “Schoolgirl“. The track is taken from their second album “Inner Smile”, which came out July 7 via Taxi Gauche Records, and you can watch the official music video below.
The band’s four members – Gini Jungi, Tobias Arn, Michael Mutter, and Daniel Bachmann recently recorded their new LP in Bristol, UK with producer Ali Chant, known for his work with Yard Act, Katy J. Pearson, Aldous Harding, Sorry). Their new video was shot by Danny Kötter “The Zittermann”.
Lead singer Gini Jungi comments on the single: “Falling in love can be thrilling and confusing at the same time. Especially when you’re not sure what you’re about to get yourself into. It can make you feel bold and shy, excited and nervous but still, it’s a feeling that fills you up with energy and hedonism.
Annie Taylor’s success has led to numerous festival invitations, including MTV Music Week, Reeperbahn, Zurich Openair, Waves Vienna and Montreux Jazz Festival, before touring the UK, Germany, and Switzerland.
