Anberlin releases new single “High Stakes” with music video
US rock band Anberlin has released a new single “High Stakes”. The single is the first new music from the band since the “Vega” album in August.
Last year, the band’s original vocalist Stephen Christian took an indefinite hiatus from the band. He was replaced by Memphis May Fire singer Matty Mullins. Mullins sang on the two tracks “Walk Alone” and “Seven” from the “Vega” album. The album consisted of songs from the band’s 2022 and 2023 EPs “Silverline” and “Convicted”.
The lyrics of“High Stakes” deal with love, trust and betrayal with a gambling metaphor.
