Alter Bridge release live video of two songs from their set at Blackbird Festival

Alter Bridge‘s inaugural ‘Blackbird Festival’ took place at Cardiff Castle in Wales in June, as per theprp. The gold-certified outfit was slated to headline the festival, and they have now published official live footage of their performances of “Silent Divide” and “Addicted To Pain” from it. They’ll be out on the rod closer to home later this autumn, as they’ve been set to headline the following U.S. tour with Big Wreck and Tim Montana.

Before establishing Alter Bridge, Tremonti, Marshall, and Phillips were members of the rock band Creed, which included lead vocalist Scott Stapp. They reached mainstream fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with the albums “My Own Prison” (1997) and “Human Clay” (1999). Marshall left Creed in 2000, and they released their third album, “Weathered”, in 2001. After a contentious tour, the band went on hiatus in 2003. That same year, Tremonti began writing new songs with the intention of starting a new band with Phillips and Marshall. They were fans of Myles Kennedy‘s former band, The Mayfield Four, and requested him to join as their new lead singer.
