Alpha Wolf and Lochie Keogh have parted ways

Lochie Keogh, the vocalist for Australian metalcore band Alpha Wolf, has announced their mutual separation, as per theprp. The band provided the following information on the situation in a statement released on August 20. In 2018, Keogh joined the group in place of Aidan Ellaz, who was expelled due to accusations.

Alpha Wolf have mutually parted ways with long time vocalist, Lochie Keogh.

We are deeply saddened, but remain hopeful for what the future holds.

We ask that you respect Lochie’s privacy, as well as ours during this time.

As a result, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming European headline tour and all remaining shows for 2026 while we work through this transition.

The group was founded in 2013, and on June 9, 2014, they released their first EP, “Origin”. Three singles and almost an entire album’s worth of (now-lost) tracks preceded the EP. The band’s first studio album, “Mono”, was released in July 2017. The term “involving or producing visual images in a single colour or in varying tones of a single colour” is shortened to “monochromatic.” The lyrical substance, which heavily addresses issues of pain and depression, is hinted at by this title and its association. Lead singer Aidan Ellaz was expelled from the band on February 9, 2018, according to MusicFeeds, because of accusations of sexual assault. Lochie Keogh and Mitch Fogarty were introduced as new members in June 2018.

The band’s “Fault” EP was published in April 2019. On September 25, 2020, the band released “A Quiet Place to Die”, their second studio album. On March 31, 2023, the band released their EP, “Shh”. The band’s single “Sucks 2 Suck” featuring Ice-T was released in January 2024. “Half Living Things”, the band’s third studio album, features the song as its second single. During the Summer of Loud 2025 Tour, which featured Beartooth, Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, and I Prevail as the main acts and TX2, Kingdom of Giants, and Dark Divine as the supporting acts, Alpha Wolf joined The Amity Affliction and The Devil Wears Prada as special guests.
