Alice Cooper performing a Nirvana cover was not on our bingo cards this year

During his headline performance on Saturday night (April 11) at Cooper’s annual Coopstock music festival at Las Sendas Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona, Alice Cooper unexpectedly covered the Nirvana classic “Smells Like Teen Spirit“, as per Blabbermouth. At the rock legend’s 28th annual rock and roll fundraiser event, Alice was supported by members of his touring band, including Ryan Roxie, Glen Sobel, Chuck Garric, Tommy Henriksen, and Anna Cara. Numerous other rock icons, including as John Oates, Tommy Thayer of KISS, and Arizona favorites Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, also made appearances at the outdoor event.

Alice Cooper has recently introduced British guitarist Anna Cara in place of his longtime guitarist Nita Strauss, who announced earlier this year that she was taking a break to welcome her first child this summer.
