With a wild sound, brutal breakdowns, and the demonic vocals of frontman Alex Terrible (Alex Shikolai), they’ve risen to the forefront of modern extreme metal. Their blend of relentless aggression and technical virtuosity leaves no audience untouched, turning their shows into chaotic pits of adrenaline. Following the success of their 2021 album ‘Kostolom’ with hits like ‘Demolisher’ and ‘1984’, they now present their latest studio release, ‘Grizzly’ in July 2025. Brace for a raging moshpit!
The band began when UK-based Jack Simmons approached Alex Shikolai (also known as Alex Terrible), who was becoming quite popular on the internet because of his vocal covers, about forming a new band. We Are Obscurity was Alex’s first band, but it disbanded because they couldn’t find a label. After launching Slaughter to Prevail and releasing the EP “Chapters of Misery”, Alex and Simmons were signed by Sumerian after their songs “Hell” and “Misery” went viral. Since then, they have toured the world, published three full-lengths, and released a number of singles.
According to Terrible, well-known deathcore bands like Suicide Silence, Bring Me the Horizon, and Carnifex have influenced the group. Reviewers noted a change in style with “Kostolom”, citing nu metal influences like Slipknot‘s “Iowa”.
