Agriculture releases moody single “Dan’s Love Song” from upcoming album

Los Angeles-based black metal band Agriculture have released a new single “Dan’s Love Song” from their forthcoming album “The Spiritual Sound”, set for release on October 3 via The Flenser.

The band has so far shared other songs from the record, including “The Weight” and “Bodhidharma”, which reflects their interest in Zen Buddhism among broader themes of suffering, joy, identity, and community.

The album is a collaboration chiefly between songwriters Dan Meyer and Leah Levinson, blending their distinct voices. Meyer’s contributions often explore spiritual, existential, and historical intensity, while Levinson’s center around queer history and collective survival. These themes are woven through “The Spiritual Sound”, and “Dan’s Love Song” is positioned in the midst of the album’s arc.
