Adam Mercer departs from A Wake In Providence

A Wake In Providence is once again in need of a lead vocalist after Adam Mercer has dropped from the lineup. Mercer took over in 2018, after their previous vocalist, Will Ramos, left to join Lorna Shore. A Facebook post regarding the situation was posted by the band:

“We regret to announce the departure of our vocalist Adam Mercer from AWIP.

We wish him the best in his future endeavors in music and his personal life.

We want to thank Adam for all he has contributed to the band.

There is no negativity between the remaining members and Adam.

AWIP will continue.”

A further comment on the situation was left in the description, reading:

We’re beyond grateful to @adam_vocals for everything he’s brought to AWIP—his passion, talent, and dedication have left a lasting mark on this band and our fans. As he moves on to new endeavors, we wish him nothing but success and continued growth. We know our fans will join us in supporting him wherever the road takes him.

This isn’t the end of AWIP, just the close of an incredible chapter. AWIP will continue.
