Author Benedetta Baldin - 13.11.2025

In front of 80,000 spectators at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne earlier on Thursday, November 12, legendary rock band AC/DC began their first Australian tour in ten years. As reported by blabbermouth.net, AC/DC performed the 1976 Bon Scott hit “Jailbreak” for the first time in more than 34 years during the band’s 21-song set. Below is a fan-shot video of the “Jailbreak” performance. “Jailbreak” first appeared on the Australian edition of AC/DC‘s “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” album. It wasn’t until 1984 that the song was released in North America. Scott, Malcolm Young, and Angus Young wrote it. The five-date Australian tour of AC/DC will continue in Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth before concluding on December 14 in Brisbane.
