US black metallers Abigail Williams have dropped their latest single, “No Less Than Death,” ahead of the release of their sixth studio album, “A Void Within Existence”. The album is scheduled to be released on July 18th, 2025 via Agonia Records. Serving as the haunting finale to a journey of cosmic despair and fractured identity, the track follows earlier singles “Nonexistence” and “Still Nights.”

Produced by frontman Ken Sorceron and mixed by renowned engineer Dave Otero – known for his work with Aborted and Akhlys – the album offers a polished yet devastating sonic experience. Behind the kit, Mike Heller (Fear Factory, Ghost Bath) delivers technically ferocious drumming, adding to the record’s cinematic intensity. The cover art, created by Eliran Kantor (Testament, Bloodbath), evokes the same haunting atmosphere woven throughout the music.

Lyrically, “A Void Within Existence” dives into themes of loss, unreality, and dissolution. “No Less Than Death” and companion track “Still Nights” examine fractured identities through surreal images of distant lights and poisoned memories, while songs like “Embrace The Chasm” and “Life, Disconnected” plunge into cosmic emptiness and personal vanishing.

Ken Sorceron describes the making of the album as “a trial by fire,” born “in the silent moments when everything felt hollow,” and aiming to push beyond previous boundaries both sonically and spiritually. He characterizes the final product as a crucible: “after which only shadow and silence remain.”

The lineup has solidified into a tight four-piece: Sorceron on vocals and guitar, joined by guitarist Vance Valenzuela, bassist John Porada, and drummer Mike Heller—who replaces longtime member Gabe Seeber.
