A-Z have released a brand new music video for “The Remedy”, a track pulled from their freshly dropped sophomore album “A2Z²”, which landed on June 6th. The record follows up their 2022 debut and continues the band’s fusion of technical prowess and melodic flair.

“The Remedy” kicks off with a sharp drum fill and quickly locks into a heavy, groove-laden riff that sounds effortless despite its complexity. The track blends punchy rhythms with a catchy chorus and just the right dash of funk, while Ray Alder’s lyrics dive into themes of human relationships. Backing vocals and melodic touches give the song an extra layer of depth.

“A2Z²” is the brainchild of drummer Mark Zonder (Fates Warning, Warlord) and features vocalist Ray Alder, also of Fates Warning fame. Guitarist Nick Van Dyk (Redemption) was on board from the start of the writing process.

Rounding out the lineup are bassist Philip Bynoe (Steve Vai, Ring of Fire, Warlord), Italian guitarist Simone Mularoni (DGM)—who also handled mixing and mastering—and keyboardist Jimmy Waldo (Alcatrazz, New England).
