Reaper Entertainment proudly presents the next chapter in their unique tribute project “A Tribute To The Reaper”: Horizon Ignited unleash their powerful version of Children Of Bodom’s classic “Sixpounder”!

With blistering riffs, relentless energy, and their signature melodic aggression, Horizon Ignited deliver a fiery and modern take on one of COB’s most crushing anthems. While staying true to the unbridled ferocity of the original, the band injects their own intensity, precision, and soaring melodic death metal spirit – creating both a heartfelt tribute and a testament to their own power.

The Finnish six-piece has been making waves in the melodic death metal scene with their combination of emotional depth, razor-sharp riffing, and anthemic melodies. Their version of “Sixpounder” captures everything that defines the band: passion, technical mastery, and an instinct for balancing brutality with atmosphere.

“We are honored beyond words to be a part of this COB tribute. We chose ‘Sixpounder’ to be our cover because of the iconic crushing main riff that works great even in a lower tuning that we used. We did try to give the song a lil’ Horizon Ignited twist without changing the song too much, because the original is so awesome! We truly hope you enjoy this one. Rest in peace, Alexi!”

The track is available now on all digital platforms and will also appear on the exclusive CD sampler “A Tribute To The Reaper”, available for free with all orders from the official Children Of Bodom Shop starting late October.
