Reaper Entertainment is proud to announce the latest release from their unique tribute project “A Tribute To The Reaper”: Bloodorn deliver a powerful rendition of Children Of Bodom’s iconic track “Needled 24/7”, paying homage to Alexi Laiho and the legendary Finnish metal pioneers.

Bloodorn was founded in France in 2023 by Nils Courbaron, guitarist of Sirenia, and is rapidly emerging as a force in modern metal. Their style, often described as Extreme Power Metal, fuses the speed, precision, and anthemic drive of traditional power metal with contemporary heaviness and cutting-edge intensity, creating a fresh and explosive sound that pushes the boundaries of the genre.

With their crushing version of “Needled 24/7”, Bloodorn stay true to the raw energy and furious riffing of the original while bringing their own energy and intensity – a powerful tribute to Alexi Laiho’s legacy. The cover showcases Bloodorn’s technical mastery and passion, connecting generations of metal fans through one of the genre’s most celebrated songs.

This release also marks Bloodorn’s updated lineup: Jamie Hunt joins as a second guitarist, giving the band a dual-guitar attack for the first time (previously only Nils handled guitars). In addition, Clément Denys replaces former drummer Michael Brush, who stepped down due to time constraints. Clément adds fresh drive to the drums and also handled the video editing for the track.

The band comments:
“We’re very proud to be part of the bands paying tribute to Children Of Bodom on our label Reaper Entertainment’s compilation “A Tribute To The Reaper.” It’s time for us to unveil our cover of their iconic track “Needled 24/7,” from the 2003 album Hate Crew Deathroll. Alexi Laiho has always been one of Nils’ biggest influences, and it meant a lot to us to honor his legacy with this cover. Huge thanks to our label for the invitation, and to Vamacara Studio, where we once again recorded the track. This release also marks our first song featuring our second guitar player Jamie Hunt and our new drummer, Clément Denys, who just returned from touring with Obscura and also handled the video editing. We miss you Alexi.”

The track is available now digitally. It will also appear on the exclusive CD sampler “A Tribute To The Reaper”, available for free with all orders from the official Children Of Bodom Shop starting late October

This marks just the beginning – more singles and covers from the tribute project will follow soon.
