A Skylit Drive return with new single “Se7en”

American post-hardcore band A Skylit Drive have unveiled a brand new single titled “Se7en”, marking the latest step in their ongoing return. The track follows their 2024 release “Count Me Out”, which was their first new material since the 2022 comeback singles “Sucker” and “Dead Serious.”

Formed in Lodi, California in 2005, the band first made waves with their debut “She Watched the Sky” before releasing six full-length albums that helped cement them as a key name in post-hardcore. After disbanding in 2017, they reemerged in 2022 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of that very EP, reconnecting with fans after years of silence.

Tragedy struck in 2023 when original vocalist Jordan Blake, who fronted the group from 2005 to 2007 and even appeared at their reunion shows, passed away at the age of 37.
