David Draiman, the Disturbed frontman, spent the weekend interacting with Jack White and Elon Musk, the owner of X, on different matters, as per Loudwire. Draiman criticized Musk for the quantity of false material that the X social media platform permits, while the singer took issue with White regarding the former The White Stripes singer’s reaction to the Iran incident over the weekend. President Trump declared on February 28 that the United States has participated in “major combat operations in Iran.” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, ultimately died as a result. However, there were concerns over whether President Trump’s actions against Iran were constitutionally permissible. Jack White, a musician, responded by criticizing Trump’s conduct.
However, Disturbed singer David Draiman disagreed with White’s viewpoint in a polite social media message, arguing that the Iranian people should be free. Draiman left up the possibility of a public or private discussion to work out their respective points of view, just as he has done with others he has previously disagreed with. White criticized Trump’s declaration of war on Iran via his Instagram account, mockingly pointing out that he is the “leader of the Board of Peace.”
In a different conversation, the Disturbed vocalist expressed his displeasure with one aspect of the X social media site and spoke directly to Elon Musk, the company’s owner. The musician ended his message with the hashtag #FreeIran, suggesting that his remarks were influenced by some of the conversations he had witnessed on the platform about the US bombing of Iran. However, Draiman’s main worry was the volume of false material he had discovered on X, and he was pleading with Musk to control the dissemination of false information.
