A new chapter begins – ex-Jane’s Addiction members collaborate once again

The onstage collapse of Jane’s Addiction was one of the most unbelievable rock-related stories of 2024. Tensions erupted onstage just months into a reunion tour that brought together the main performers from the multi-platinum alternative rock band’s iconic heyday. Perry Farrell, the singer, swung and charged at guitarist Dave Navarro. By that time, the problems that had led to the situation had apparently been boiling for months. The disaster seems to have started with Farrell’s difficulties performing live, which his wife later attributed to possible health problems. She subsequently disclosed that Perry had scheduled consultations with a neurologist and an otolaryngologist, a specialist in disorders of the ears, nose, and throat. Eric Avery, the band’s now-former bassist, disclosed in a post published on January 3rd, that he has been writing to drum parts supplied by Stephen Perkins, his former bandmate from Jane’s Addiction. Additionally, he hinted that Navarro would be performing his sections over the music.
