Lacuna Coil’s new album is soon to be finished

Frontwoman Christina Scabbia from the Italian alternative metalband Lacuna Coil just announced that the band’s upcoming tenth album will soon be finished.

Three days ago bassist and songwriter Marco “Maki” Coti-Zelati announced with a picture on Instagram, that the album is in his final stages.

This new upcoming album of Lacuna Coil will be the band’s tenth studio album, following the last album “Black Anima”, which came out five years ago. A song, which will probably be featured on this new album, “Never Dawn“, was dropped last year. Singer Christina Scabbia explained that this song fits the vibe of the new album, featuring a lot of “hard songs”. Last April the band dropped another single with singer Ash Costello from New Years Day – “In The Mean Time“. If this song will also be featured on the new album is still unclear.

Lacuna Coil‘s upcoming album will come out without the participation of guitarist Diego Cavallotti, which left the band last month.
